Inspect and remove metadata

Discover and remove metadata from images, PDFs and Office documents. 100% in your browser.

Your file never leaves your browser
How can I verify it?
Open your browser DevTools (F12 or right-click → Inspect) and go to the Network tab. Upload a file and clean its metadata. You will see no requests leaving your browser to our servers. All processing happens in local JavaScript. The JS code is readable from this page's source.

WHY DOES IT NEVER LEAVE YOUR BROWSER?

Online metadata cleaners normally upload your file to a server, process it there and return the result. Along the way, your file passes through a system you don't control that can log it, copy it or read its contents. For photos with GPS coordinates, documents with internal names or confidential PDFs, that's a serious problem.

This tool uses JavaScript running inside your browser. When you drop a file, the browser reads it as bytes, local parsers detect the metadata and remove it, and a clean copy is built and downloaded directly — with zero calls to our infrastructure. You can verify it with the DevTools Network tab.
